§ 42-22. Curing.

  • Concrete shall be cured continuously for a minimum of four days from and beginning the day it is poured and placed. Curing may be done by using approved curing paper, plastic sheets, mats, or an approved curing compound. When a curing compound is used, it shall be applied at the rate as recommended by the manufacturer. Joints shall be sawed as immediately practical after placement to avoid unnecessary cracking.
